Founder/Clinical Director, is a licensed Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of experience working with children from infancy stage to adolescence/young adults. Her education includes a post professional doctorate degree from Texas Woman's University, an M.Ed in special education/certification in ABA courses from Texas A&M University, and a B.S. in occupational therapy also from Texas Woman's University. She has worked with children with a wide variety of diagnoses in settings including acute care hospitals, outpatient clinics, home health, early childhood intervention, mental health facilities, and private practice. She has achieved specialized certification in sensory integration (SIPT). Additionally, she is a pediatric course instructor for the occupational therapy doctorate program at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She has certifications in Interactive Metronome, the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) and advanced SOS feeding program, and listening programs. She has training in Neuro-Developmental Technique (NDT), Handwriting Without Tears, The Astronaut Protocol, the Alert Program, and DIR Floortime. She also completed the Level I Intensive Mentorship at the STAR Institute for Sensory Processing Disorder under the direction of Lucy Jane Miller.
Crystal graduated from University of Texas at Dallas with a BA in psychology and a minor in child learning and development. In 2008 she worked as an ABA therapist in the home and clinical setting. In 2011, she graduated from Texas Women's University with a masters in occupational therapy. She has worked with children with a variety of diagnosis including Autism/PDD/Asperger's, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Intellectual Disabilities, Sensory Processing Disorder, and other neurological disorders. She has trainings and certifications in Interactive Metronome (IM), listening programs (TLP, inTime & iLs advanced), infant massage (CEIM), the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) and advanced SOS feeding program, certified handwriting specialist, and Hippotherapy. She has training in Kinesiotaping (CKTP), Handwriting Without Tears (HWT), DIR Floortime, and the Alert Program. She also completed the Level I Intensive Mentorship at the STAR Institute for Sensory Processing Disorder under the direction of Lucy Jane Miller. She has achieved specialized certification in sensory integration (SIPT) and is a Certified Autism Specialist (CAS) through The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES).
Justine graduated from Texas Woman’s University in 2001 with a B.S in Occupational Therapy and a minor in child psychology. In 2012 she obtained her Master of Science Degree in Family Studies from Texas Woman’s University. In 2017 she obtained her Occupational Therapy Doctorate from Texas Woman's University. She has worked with children with a variety of diagnosis including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Intellectual Disabilities, Charge Syndrome, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, and other neurological disorders. Her clinical treatments include a psychosocial/whole child approach, a therapeutic relationship, eliminating/shaping challenging behaviors, child diet/ nutrition, functional teen life skills, issues of sexuality with people who have intellectual disabilities, and community accessibility. She is certified in Interactive Metronome and Integrated Listening Systems. Justine presents at professional conferences and enjoys teaching. She also enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her three dogs, cooking, gardening, biking, and traveling.
Elsa graduated from the School of Occupational Therapy at TWU in 1995. Since then she has worked with children from birth to school age in various settings including Early Childhood Intervention, outpatient clinics, home health, and schools. She has worked with children with a variety of diagnosis including Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, strokes, Cerebral Palsy, feeding problems, and motor/ neurological disorders. In addition, she has worked with adults in rehabilitation and nursing home facilities. She has training in feeding with children and has attended workshops in sensory integration, auditory and visual processing. She is certified in Interactive Metronome (IM). Her hobbies are working out and camping.
Maria graduated with a B.S. in Occupational Therapy from the Philippines. She is currently working on her post-professional doctorate in occupational therapy at the University of Montana. She has experience working with children with a variety of diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Learning Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, and Developmental delays. In addition, she has experience working with adults in physical rehabilitation and mental health. She also had the opportunity to share her knowledge with OT students as a Clinical Supervisor. Maria has certifications and training in Handwriting Without Tears (HWWT), Integrated Listening System (ILS), and Interactive Metronome (IM). She is also a Certified Autism Specialist by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). Maria loves being with kids, building connections with them, and helping them reach their highest potential. Maria enjoys spending time with her family. She can be seen volunteering at school, watching and cheering for her kids during their activities.
Meena graduated from India with a Master’s in Physical Therapy specializing in Pediatric Neurosciences.
She is also NDT certified in the management and treatment of children with cerebral palsy and other neuro motor disorders. She holds trainings and certifications in Kinesiotaping (Level 1), Interactive Metronome, MNRI. Meena evaluates and treats with a whole body approach that combines knowledge and understanding of localized anatomy and function within the context of full body structure, function, and movement patterns with a sensory motor approach.
Timothy received his Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Texas Tech University in 2011. Timothy is certified in Clinical Competence by the American Speech-language and Hearing Association. He has worked with a variety of diagnoses including Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Intellectual Disability, language delays, articulation and phonetic disorders, feeding disorders, oral motor deficits, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and use of Augmentative Communication Devices.
Shannon is a licensed speech and language pathologist. She received her M.S. in Communication Disorders in 2010 from the University of Texas at Dallas, and a B.S. in Communication Disorders from the University of Arkansas in 2009. Her experience includes individual speech and language therapy to children ages 3-10, leading social group therapy for children with autism, and administering individual diagnostic speech language evaluations. Additionally, she has had several years of experience providing individual and group speech and language therapy in multiple educational settings.
