Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapy to help unlock your child's potential

OUR RESPONSE TO COVID-19

PPT is committed to the health and well-being of our families and staff members. A top priority of ours is to ensure our children’s growth and development, while maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for the kids we treat, their families, and our staff members alike.

In response to the COVID 19 pandemic, we are providing telehealth services as an option for OT/PT/ST to those children who can benefit from a virtual therapy session. Additionally, we have implemented heightened health and sanitation protocols which include:

  • Increased frequency of the clinic after each treatment session, including continually sanitizing treatment areas, workstations,      doorknobs, work area surfaces, toys and equipment throughout the day.
  • Hand sanitizers, disinfecting wipes/solutions, gloves, masks, cleaning supplies readily available for frequent use.
  • Limiting access to our clinic exclusively to essential staff members and the children served.
  • Checking temperatures of children.
  • Implementing hand washing and sanitizing procedures for all staff members and children prior to entering our clinic, sanitizing      clinic before and after treatment session, after using the restroom, and as otherwise appropriate.
  • Practicing social distancing within sessions by establishing quotas for individuals in each room within our clinic and limiting the number of individuals in larger communal areas.
  • Immediate notification/communication of COVID-19 exposure by staff members, clients, or their respective family members, to      the appropriate staff member(s) within PPT and/or parents/caregivers.

While the current environment is unprecedented and uncertain, we take comfort in the fact that we have a compassionate team and a loyal community of families. We are closely monitoring the evolving COVID-19 situation and adhering to safety guidelines from health authorities/agencies.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions and/or concerns.
